Kathy founded Family & Aging Advocates to address the multitude of needs for the growing cohort of our aging population and their family members. She relocated to the Arlington - Mansfield - Grand Prairie area from Kansas City in 2016 to join Dignity Memorial as a pre-planning advisor, serving clients throughout the DFW region. Most recently she was President of Burlway Gardens, a mausoleum and cemetery complex in historic Mansfield.
Kathy received her Masters of Social Work degree from Our Lady of the Lake University in her native San Antonio, and performed her graduate practicum at The Summit in Grand Prairie where she assisted with health, social service, nutrition, and transportation needs of the members. She was also the founding chair of the Latino Business Group of the Greater Arlington Chamber of Commerce in 2018.
